Who we are

Our Ministry Board

  Our Church leadership is provided by a Ministry Team composed of members representing each of the core ministries of the church. Members are elected to 3-year terms with one year off required before being eligible for election to a new term. Each Ministry Team member gathers like-inspired persons to join them in the work of the core ministry they represent. People who serve in individual core ministries are not elected and serve so long as they are inspired to do so. 

  

The Ministry Team exists to help church members pursue their calling, offering encouragement, guidance, and resources. The Ministry Team seeks always to be responsive to the Holy Spirit and partner with fellow members as they seek to follow Christ. The Ministry Team supports each other, the Pastor, members, and friends of the church to promote and discuss the life and welfare of the Church.

Sue or better known to her Church Family as "Angel Sue" has been a member of Riverside for over 45 years and has served as Treasurer for 17 of those years.  Sue knows our Church inside and out and always serves above and beyond her duties as Treasurer.

Minister of Spiritual Life & Worship - Deane Currie

Deane is a new member of RCC, though he has been part of our worship and volunteer family for awhile now.  He has worked in the hospitality industry as well as teaching eighth grade maths. His last job was managing a retreat center in West Chester Pennsylvania called Temenos.  In 2009 he moved to RI to be near near his wife’s parents. Her father is now 99 years young.

Paul has been attending services for quite some time and recently made the decision to become  a member of RCC and our Ministry Board.  If you are a volunteer for one of our missions Paul is now your primary contact to get information to the Ministry Team.
